Discover the comfort and exceptional quality of Nudie Jeans Steady Eddie II jeans, made from Shinya Mills redcast selvedge denim from Japan.
Jeans made from beautiful 14.2 oz redcast selvage denim, woven by Shinya Mills in Okayama, Japan. The warp threads were dyed 20 times in pure indigo, giving the jeans their dark and pure redcast indigo shade. The naturally irregular threads, woven under low tension, created a perfectly chunky and uneven surface structure. This fabric finds the exact point where imperfection turns into perfection - a true work of art in denim. If that wasn't enough, this denim fabric has a story; it is a recreation of a denim used for a pair of jeans from the 1950s. The jeans were found at a vintage market, worn and totally stunning. Amazed by the look, the good folks at Shinya decided to reproduce the denim fabric. And how lucky we are that they did! These Steady Eddie II are simply top-notch, thanks to the fabric. If you're looking for 'high-end' Japanese selvage that develops a marbled texture and salt 'n' pepper like the best vintage denim, then this is undoubtedly it. We are super excited to offer the Steady Eddie II Dry Ace Selvage. Let the breaking-in phase begin!
