Didriksons Waterproof Jacket Biak

Biak is a functional and weatherproof jacket, suitable for everyday use as well as outdoor activities. It is fully waterproof and windproof with sealed seams and made from breathable material. The jacket has a straight fit and features a two-way front zipper, providing added flexibility and ventilation.

The hood is fixed and can be adjusted in two directions with a drawstring for optimal fit and protection. The cuffs can be adjusted with Velcro to shield against the elements and wind. The jacket has practical side pockets with zippers and an inner pocket with a zipper for secure storage. Reflective details, including a logo and a zip pull, enhance visibility in the dark. The zipper never rests directly against the chin thanks to the collar design.

Polyester is a synthetic material used in garments that need to be water-repellent, lightweight, breathable or wick moisture away from the body. All these properties or only some of them are combined, depending on the garment's function. Compared to natural materials, polyester has the advantage of having fibers that are more durable and last longer. Additionally, synthetic materials like polyester require less water during production, which is essential to our efforts in reducing water consumption. Some of our garments use recycled and/or recyclable polyester.

Our story began with the production of rain clothing that protected fishermen from water and cold at sea. Since then, we have continued to protect people from water and cold, but today it is also about protecting water from man. The goal is to create quality products that last for years. We focus on sustainable materials, tested dyeing processes with less water and chemical use, as well as PFC-free treatments. Our clothing never contains animal materials such as fur, leather or down.
