Founded in 1927 in Brest, Fileuse d'Arvor is the oldest hosiery manufacturer in Brittany. Based in Quimper since 1946, the company benefits from top-notch expertise in straight knitting. Its iconic garments have travelled the world, including its legendary sailor top called "Midship". Knitted from combed cotton with unmatched softness, the true Brest© sailor top is made in the workshops of Quimper, following the traditional assembly method of the Midship of the National Navy. It actually accompanied the training ship Jeanne d'Arc during its last journey around the globe.
