Description
Jogging Ball G. Jack
A so-called ball switch can easily be used to see if something is tilted or not.
This ball switch ensures that you have a contact between the pins at an angle of 45 degrees or more (see pictures).
The metal ball in the tube then ensures that two contacts are connected.
If you can measure fast enough (and often enough), you can also use this ball switch as a vibration sensor.
Features:
Maximum voltage: 12 V
Maximum current: 6 mA
Contact resistance: <10Ω(on contact), >10MΩ(no contact)
Dimensions: 5.2 x 12.5 mm (without pins)
