Founded in Dallas, TX, in 1982, Autry, "the shoe with the American flag", became known in the North American market thanks to a number of technical and stylistic innovations. In 1985, the Autry "Medalist" model was ranked by Tennis Magazine as the best sneaker of the year and two years later, the "Jetstreamers" was awarded 5 stars by Runner's World magazine. The brand is relaunched in 2019 with the presentation of the complete "Medalist" range.
