It comes from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul) and undergoes an innovative tanning process during which no chrome, heavy metals or dangerous acids are used. The simplification of the tanning steps allows to limit the use of chemical products, energy, as well as to reduce the use of water by about 40% and salt by 80%. After tanning, the water is recyclable.suede is the back of a leather that is sanded to give it a soft and supple appearance. It comes from farms in Rio Grande do Sul. It is tanned in Brazil according to REACH standards. Water is used sparingly during the tanning process. This suede is then coated with two water-repellent oils to protect the sneakers against light rain. It is certified by the L.W.G. (Leather Working Group) which promotes sustainable practices that have a positive impact on the environment in tanneries.
