A star fabric in Britain in the 1970s, corduroy was invented more than a century earlier in sunny Manchester. Stronger than velvet, we used this soft but durable fabric for our classic cap, with our iconic embroidered laurel wreath and details Fred Perry. Nothing turns heads like the laurel wreath.
