Launched in 1978 as the Style 38, the Sk8-Hi shoes featured our now iconic Sidestripe on a new and innovative high-top silhouette. The second shoe to feature the then-famous "jazz stripe" pattern, the Sk8-Hi marked an aesthetic milestone in the history of Vans. Inspired by this first legendary high-top shoe, the Desert Sk8-Hi features rattlesnake patterns combined with our signature checkerboard print.
